Laura Spedding Registered Music Therapist Master of Creative Music Therapy Bachelor of Music (Hons) Laura is one of our Music Therapists working through our outreach program. Laura has experience working with a broad range of client populations including early intervention, people with disability, adolescent mental health, and residential aged care. Aside from working through our clinics at Nordoff Robbins her clinical work includes providing music therapy at Bankstown City Aged Care facilities, Uniting Care Australia, Salvation Army, and Blaxland High School. Laura is passionate about bringing out the strengths of each of her clients and understands that patience is often needed to facilitate change. Before coming to music therapy Laura ran her own business teaching violin and piano and taught people with special needs how to swim. Her experiences as both a teacher and instructor have given provided her with the skills to address the goals and outcomes of her clients.
