Rachael Mackay Clinic Manager | Registered Music Therapist Master of Creative Music Therapy Bachelor of Music (Hons) Sound Technology Cert IV in Mental Health Traineeship in Electronics and Audio Rachael is our Penrith Clinic Manager and one of our Music Therapists at our Penrith Clinic. Rachael has experience as a music therapist with many clinical populations including working in rehabilitation and brain injury, children with Autism, adult disability and mental health. Her clinical work has included providing music therapy at AFFORD, Barnardos, Uniting Care Australia, Westmead Children’s Hospital, NgalluWal Aboriginal and Child and Family Centre, and Nepean Community and Neighbourhood Services. Before coming to music therapy Rachael worked extensively in electronics and programming and brings a vast array of technical knowledge to her practice. She enjoys utilising a vast array of technology including technology for evaluation and assessment. Rachael enjoys research and has presented at a number of conferences and professional development seminars and in 2017 was award the Denise Grocke Award for excellence.
